FROM “WHAT IF” TO “CLIP THAT”

Three steps.
One very different stream.

Give viewers a way to be part of the show. Their idea. Their name on screen. A moment everyone gets to react to.

  1. 1

    Pick it. Pay for it.

Your hijack page lists the looks you allow. The viewer picks one, or types their own idea, and pays by card. Every dollar buys a second. You get paid through Stripe.

  2. 2

    Watch reality switch.

The payment lands and your webcam is redrawn in that look for as many seconds as they paid. Their name and the countdown sit on the picture, so everyone watching knows who did it and what it cost.

Stream output · what chat sees
  3. 3

Back to you. Just like that.

When the seconds run out, your normal camera returns and the hijack is written to your ledger. You get a clear record of what ran, who triggered it, and how long it lasted.

What kind of chaos
is your chat?

Start with a menu of built-in looks, or allow custom ideas. You choose what’s available. These illustrations show the direction of each effect, not recorded AI output.

YOU’RE STILL THE BOSS

Unleash chat.
Keep the off switch.

  • You build the menu. Turn looks on or off, set the lowest price and the longest a hijack can run.
  • Viewers' own ideas are screened first. Typed prompts and photos pass automatic screening before anything reaches your camera, and you can switch them off in one click.
  • One key ends it. ⌘⇧H from anywhere cuts back to your camera and pauses the queue.
  • Every hijack ends on time. Automatic time limits bring your normal camera back. You set the maximum length before anyone pays.

One source in OBS. Nothing else changes.

The app connects to OBS Studio over its WebSocket server and adds a single Browser Source named AI Hijack to your scene. It stays hidden until a hijack is live, then hides again. Your scenes, filters, alerts and camera stay exactly as you had them.

It reads your camera from the OBS Virtual Camera, so whatever you already do to your picture in OBS carries over into the hijack.

What do I need?

OBS Studio with its WebSocket server on, a Stripe account to get paid (the app sets it up with you), and the Stream Hijack desktop app, for macOS or Windows.

Is this a Twitch extension?

No. Viewers pay by card on your own hijack page, so it works alongside Twitch, Kick or YouTube. No Bits, no extension review.

Where does the money go?

Viewers pay by card on your hijack page, through Stripe. Each payment first covers the AI video time it buys and a small platform fee, plus Stripe's card fee; the rest goes to your Stripe account. On a $10 hijack you keep about $8.70. If a paid hijack never plays, the viewer is refunded automatically.

How long does a hijack last?

As many seconds as they paid for, up to the maximum you set. A short wipe covers the cut in and the cut out.

Is there a delay?

The restyled picture runs a little behind your camera, as any live AI video does. The wipe hides the jump at both ends, and the countdown is on screen so viewers know what is happening.

What can a viewer make it do?

A look you have turned on, or their own idea if you allow typed prompts. Every typed idea and photo is screened against your rules before it runs, and nudity, minors and real people are always blocked.

Does it cost me anything?

Nothing up front. Each viewer payment covers its own AI video time plus a small platform fee, so you never pay for a hijack yourself.
